JAMB-Printing of 2019 UTME Slip Has Been Shifted To 4th April,The Reprinting Of JAMB UTME Slip Which Is Said To Hold On 2nd April Has Moved Printing Of 2019 UTME Slip To April 4th The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has shifted the printing of UTME slip to Thursday April 4th, 2019. Leaders who died while serving their land

Nigeria has had various leaders since it obtained her independence from Britain in 1960 before becoming a republic three years later. About five of the leaders the country has had died in office through coups which were largely experienced during the military regimes and sickness which was the case of the country’s civilian president from 2007-2010. Below is a list of Nigerian leaders that died before the completion of their tenure. 1.) Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa When the British left in 1960, Tafawa Balewa who hailed from Bauchi State became Nigeria’s first Prime Minister and ruled from 1960 till he was killed on January 15, 1966 in the country’s first ever military coup carried out by soldiers of Igbo extraction led by Major Kaduna Nzeowu. ASSU strike update

Another meeting between the federal government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) ended on Friday night without an immediate resolution of the dispute. The meeting which held at the Federal Ministry of Labour was to find a lasting solution to the ongoing strike by the university lecturers. At least four other meetings have been held between both parties before Monday’s since the strike commenced on November 4. While addressing journalists, the minister of labour and employment, Chris Ngige, said the meeting has been adjourned to February 7 Mr Ngige said the federal government is taking all necessary steps to address ASUU’s demands. Mr Ngige had earlier appealed to the striking lecturers to ensure that Monday’s dialogue yields results that will lead to ending the strike. ”The strike is which is about old two month old and it is not in anybody’s interest. The polytechnic student are not happy with the strike so far, they  says the Federal government should meet the demands of Asup unless they are really to boycott the Feb 16 speaking with a senator representing the dept of computer science he however explained that "God bless our struggle. Thing falling apart in home of the largest sugar factory after two decades

Rural Bacita community is a Nupe land situated in the Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State. It comprises of about 400 communities. The town, which used to be a beehive of socioeconomic activities in the past years, can now best be described more or less a ghost town. The reason being that Bacita Sugar Company, established in the 50s, which used to be the glory of the former promising community, is no longer in operation. Facts available revealed that the town existed because of the sugar factory as it provided socioeconomic and welfare to the population inhabiting the Nupe land. Bacita was home to indigenes of all tribes in the country, including foreign nationals, as investigation gathered that the company provided employment to over 4,000 direct and indirect workers. ASUP Vs FG

Asup ended up in deadlocked after meeting Federal government today they still stand strongly on their demand. Saying that without their demand being meet they won't call off the strike. Furthermore,speaking with one of the Asup member after the meeting share is view that pervious administration as made a lot of promise which was not fulfill know they want to see reasonable response from the federal Government before they can guarantee going back to the lecture hall. More also,all hope are not lost yet, they claim the Federal polytechnic needs urgent attention. Finally,the polytechnic students are not really happy with the game being played by Asup representative and the Federal government, they say it a pity that leaders of tomorrow are sitting down at home.
